All fingerprints are sent to ottawa by CIC, your should be done by now call RCMP and they will let you know. Regarding 16yrs old having fingerprints as long name check fails to get the clearance CIC will send you letter for fingerprints

Thank you Sirsa for the info.

I called CIC today and they informed me that the background check is complete.

I will be receiving the letter indicating the test date soon.

So we await this letter. Hope it is soon.

In BC generally processing by CIC offices is faster compared with Toronto area offices. you can go on this website http://www.v-soul.com/casedb/view.html to check others timelines from your area

In all this mad rush noone answered one basic question that everyone wants the answer for.

How long does it take for a RCMO fingerprint test?
The answer is about 5 months

CFSS processes more than 15,000 criminal record searches each month. The processing time is currently in excess of one hundred and fifty (150) days from receipt of an application. Note that processing time can vary due to incoming workloads.
