Hello every one how are you i want to share some thing about my cictzenship application i write my test on feb 16 2009 through a school in mississauga local immigration office and the same day the colect my application and still i'm waiting for the letter that they recive my application you know which letter i'm talkin about .
I call Sydney office like 3 weeks ago and ask them status about my application and they said they dont have my application they checked with my clinet id and payment recipt but they cant found my application they said you have to contact local office i went there in local office mississauga where i wrte my test and submit my application and they also have same info which Sydney office they dont have any record of my application i cant belive it they took my test after taking my application and they dont have record .
So here is my situation i dont know what i have to do now its been 8 months now and they said they dont have my application but they are Processing march 25 , 2009 application but mine was feb 17 , 2009 can some body tell me what to do plz
Your best bet is your local office you mentioned. They should at least have some record of your application. Don't you have any receipt or something to prove that you wrote the test and submitted the application?

well... they didnt gave me anything but first they check my application and aal original doc's and then they also take a small interview and after all this they took test and at end of test they scan into computer but they didnt gave anything to anyone
Who collected your application, the school or local citizenship office?
Does CIC not offer any solution to this?
I think you can reapply with your old payment reciept with a letter stating what happened and this time send to Sydney office directly to the address as given in the application form through registered post.

Hi There, After you submit the application and take the test, it will stay in the local office for nearly 2 to 3 months and only then it will be transferred to Sydney. So its just like you applied after April 17 or 20th. So you should assume that you applied only after april last week. So once the May applications are opened then I am sure you will get an update. Hope this helps.
