I am looking for stock trading. Has anybody have exprience with Quest trade. THey have started trading gold too. If anybody have positive experience, i can go and apply.

I use Questrade for stocks only...... For options trading I have heard Options Express is better..... I don’t know about GOLD.....

With Questrade there were few hiccups in the beginning but after some time its easy as it goes...sometimes there are some confusions...for that I would not blame Quest...I am trying to understand this market all together.....

Are U using questrade for trading? There are many version of Questtrade, which one of that you are using. I opened a trial account with them & trying to figure out pro & cons of all the 4 sub models of questtrade.
Please share your experience with Questtrade.

I am also using Questradeweb and Webtrader as they are free for others there is charge..


It is good but be careful there are some features in demo account that are not free.

Best way myfreind suggest that either u called them for detailed information, or some time they have fair for giving all information, or u can go personally to them office to ased them detailed information.

My friend use questtrade and he is happy with questrad charges and service.

I am mainly using the QUESTRADERWEB version....which is quiet good.... but Questrade is not good for Options Trading...that’s what I have heard....

There are few things which I did not like with Questrade, that is.... they show something different on the DEMO account and things are different on the actual account.... also if the stream is not available on the actual account...the \"Refresh\" does not give a current market....

Secondly, I have noticed that sometimes when I put in a limit for purchasing 2000 stk it gets 1000 and keeps the other 1000 for a second limit order... when i spoke to them...they say that there were only 1000stk available and the other 1000 is a new order....and they will charge additional brokerage on the other 1000.....this way I landed up paying them double brokerage and my costing got screwed up..... my question is...I understand the market will be available only 1000 but not always....and also this could be done purposely by Questrade.....

In all I am happy with Questrade...only few things here and there....

I am looking at OptionsExpress to be my trading broker now....because I want to trade in Options too....
