Hello All,
I was a US resident prior to becoming a Canadian resident. Almost a year and a half before getting the candian residency papers I had temporarily moved back home. In that year and a half timeframe I had frequent visits to US to primarily to maintain my green card ( a trip very 4-6 months) each trip lasting a week to two weeks. Since becoming the canadian resident I had only one trip back home for two weeks.
Now I basically have two questions:
1- Since the application asks for 4 years of address; for that one year prior to landing in Canada What addresses should I put in? Should I count for all trips and include all address in hotel /motels as well?
2- The applications ask for Residency in any other country since becoming Canadian residency. I was a US resident before gettting the canadian residency. Upon getting the PR, I converted my green card to commuter green card so that I could live in canada. I have family and property in canada to prove my residency if they ask. I work in the US and I commute back and forth every day. So now what should I say to that question? Yes (and explain or No (because I was a US resident before becoming the canadian resident)?
your suggestions/coments are highly appreciated.
Regards,
