To TK and other Kitchener folks

How does it compare with Mississauga? I have another concern with KW area being predominately gora dominating which might create issues for kids at school.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated

Depends on the schools and the age of your kids.
From my experience, if you are in a good area, then it is a good bet.
Generally speaking, schools and kids are much better than what is in the missisaauga/Toronto area. One of the main reasons is that they have a bit if laid back life/ lack of plenty of refugees / immigrants in dead beat jobs and hence most of the children are cultured.
There is more homework being given, teacher has more time to interact with parents etc...
Avoid the down town Kitchener area.
Gora kids pose no problem to us or our culture (atleast in the primary level) IMO and in the KW area. But I must also say that KW being a predominatly Gora area, they have no idea about us or our culture / our back ground etc.. But they are a nice lot. Have not really had any problems with them at all. (except that they still will not give any jobs to immigrants but then more than willing to take money from us- just like the rest of the pack).

Hope this helps.

Peace

You can refer to Fraser Institute for rankings. For school boundary, you may to have to contact school itself. http://ontario.compareschoolrankings.org/SchoolsByArea.aspx?schooltype=elementary
