It is a different ball game these days and no one knows it better then the Canadian government ....... http://ottawa.ctv.ca/servlet/an/local/CTVNews/20100529/india-visa-apology-100529/20100529/?hub=OttawaHome

I am not surprised by the anti-India bias in this article.
No particular offnce to our Pakistani community friends here, but it makes one think that those so called 'low level diplomats' could very possibly be of Pakistani origin, thereby using their Canadian authority to blatantly retaliate for personal self esteem, instead or carrying out their responsibility.
Otherwise one would have to be utterly uneducated and totally devoid of general knowledge to not know the difference between army/bsf and some terrorist organization!
We've seen this kind of thing happen with a news organization as well - BBC, time and again when it comes to covering news about India, again in which case its been more reflective of mindset of anti-india pakistanis employed there towards India in general, rather than BBC itself.
I hope the Canadian high commission acquires some maturity and ethics in dealing with these procedures and implements them.
Most Canadians commonly can't even identify the difference between India, Pakistan and Bangladesh, from a general knowledge standpoint at least.
This may sound harsh but it is simply the uncovered truth.
