I came across this news and was surprised. I never been to Kathlal, but knew that it has large number of Muslim population.

I applaud your for your positive attitude.
This might be a small news of great significance for people of Gujarat.
But unfortunately many Gujaratis are not able to have a full Indian picture.
India is Gone Baby Gone.
What is happening in South India, parts of Bengal, Bihar, UP and J&K the efforts in Gujarat cannot even it out.
There is a great competition going on in South India and other tribal areas in India for converting people to Islam or Christianity.
We have a Tamil Nadu Cadre IAS - Mr.Uma Shankar advising people who have converted to other religions to retain their Hindu names to avail the GOI preferential treatment vide reservations.
If an IAS does that what do you expect?.
Do you know who is funding him and his chronies efforts ?.
The charities from Burlington, ON who keep showing how Indian SC/ST's are treated on your own Ontario TV of channels 9, 10 and 17 in Rogers channel. If you watch any of these shows of how your own converted Desis are ridiculing India in the name of religion your blood will boild.
Wake up and investigate.
You'll realize that Gujarat is not India but a small segment in the great Republic of India.
