Kindly looking advice reagrding citizenship application
i already have completed 5 yrs as permanent resident in canada, but my presence day in canada are 900 and absent days are 560 since last 04 years, becas i am working in middle east, and i have rotational job in middle east, i work there for 40 days and then come back canada for 30 days, this is routine since last 5 yrs,
kindly advise me can i apply for citizenship, and judge can accept my case, my family living in toronto and all family is canadian citizen, i am comming canada regular and stay with family,
kindly advice me i want to submit my application, when i will get ur reply, thanks

900 days + 560days is calculation for only 4 years.
How about 5th year days?
If you calculate total days for 5 years which is 1829.
If you have lived 1095 days in Canada out of 5 years, I think your application will be accepted. I think CIC requires 1095 days Residency in Canada, regardless of within 4, 5, or 6 years.
Ofcourse, CIC may be or may not ask for satsfactory reason for absent before approval. If you are in Toronto and need help completing Citizenship form visit nearest Public library or visit Thorncliffe Neighbourhood Office, they will help you completing forms free of charge. (Address: 18 Thorncliffe Park Dr, Left Entrance, behind East York Town Centre).
