umm.. there's always hydroponics.
and canada is renowed for its horticulturists... greenhouse growers... organic foods, all that healthy stuff. they're "farmers' too u no.
i'd love to own a greenhouse someday.
but everytime i think about it, i remember that scene from Hand that Rocks the Cradle where the greenhouse caved in, and it scares the living daylights outta me!
BF, u should go to Farmers Market sometime. Then u'll see that yes, people *do* "grow in ice"
. btw, all my veggies I buy fresh from the farm. yum!
