hi every one,
we had submitted application to sponsor my parents. It was approved by cpc - mississauga in may 2010. then my parents submitted form to new delhi in june 2010. Last week we get letter from immigration office for medical request.
But now my parents had changed their mind and they do not want to withdraw an application.
so,
1. Is it possible to withdraw an application now?
2. What are consequencies for that?
3. Will i get application fee back (full or some part)?
4. What is the procedure for that?
Can anyone help me for this
thanks in advance.

I find it hard to belive that you submitted the file in June 2010 and your parents got a call within one year for the medical. I know of families whose parents have submitted to New Delhi in early 2009 and are still waiting, as the official time in New Delhi is over two years before they send the medical request to parents. Not doubting what you are saying, but hard to believe that they would make an exception in your case. Are you sure that the dates are accurate?
Thanks desi #1 for your quick reply.
Hi freakoutguy,
Your doubt is valid. Even I was surprised by getting quick response. But it is true that we submitted documents to New Delhi on 11/ June 2010. yes that's 2010.
Anyway thanks for the reply.
can somebody tell me which forms i have to submit to withdraw an application?
Thanks
There is no form to withdraw the application. Your parent who is the pricipal applicant (your father) will have to write a letter stating that he wishes to withdraw the application.
strange that after so much wait ur parents dont wanna come and reunite...
