Have filed the Citizenship paper in Jan 2012 this year for all of us.

Today i have received a form from Citizenship for my spouse to fillout this and return within 30 days.

googled it and not getting clear idea what it is for ? need an input on it.


My self landed in April 2008, Wife and kids joined in May 2008. they went to india for about 3 months in 2009. That's only 1 time they were out of country, no USA visits.

so delayed citizenship to ensure what everyone is reached to 1095 days , i could have applied in oct'2011 but applied in jan'12.


is that the reason now she is required to fillout this form ?

is it considered as complication ? or is it their standard practice ? will i get the similar form separately ?

there is no need to panic, they are sending this RQ (residence questionare) to atleast one member of the family, they need more details, just fill the form to the best of your knowledge and send it. You need to send CBSA (Canada border) and OHIP report. Both of these are free, you need to make a request, but it will arrive after 30 days. Gooogle those for more info. You also need to send full colour photocopies of passport including blank pages.
