I am looking for an FM transmitter that is compatible with iphone 5. The intent is to sync the transmitter freq to my car's radio to play music off my iphone through the car's speakers.
My car's 10 years old, so I don't have any 3.5 mm jacks and I have no desire to modify anything on the car.
I found the following on amazon.com that claims to be iphone 5 compatible. I can't find anything that raises suspicion on the claim; hence I am thinking it should work. Besides it's only a $13 gamble.

Any thoughts? Thanks.

I have a similar one which I bought a few years ago and paid around $4. These days they're available for around $5 to $6. Check on http://www.meritline.com/ If you sign up on the site, they send you a coupon code almost every week.
Here's another link from Meritline with a choice of FM Transmitters. Most of them have a slot for either a SD card or USB flash drive as well as a 3.5 mm jack
