Want to buy a laptop

I want to buy a laptop and my budget is around $550. I need at least 1gb dedicated graphics . So which one is best in this range? Can I have suggestions and personal expierences.

My one cent. even if you have to pay little extra but buy one with touch screen

If your budget permits then go for lenovo yoga else any laptop with touch screen is fine.

I recommend laptop with touch screen because of window 8's GUI ,as without touch screen you will be more frustrated with window 8 however there are utilities out there which can make window 8 more look like window 7 but you will miss out on touch screen interface.

I guess its a matter of personal preference and convenience . I bought the very first Iconia and was always very unhappy with the interface and not so user friendly . Couldn't find takers easily and had to let it go for 50% of my cost with in no time . Switched to Macbook and never have been happier .

thanks RF. I missed the deadline for returning sony vaio laptop (17 inch / i7 / 8gb ram). But I did not experience any kind on inconvenience with win 8. I think you need touch screen for playing angry bird and cut the ropes etc.
