I am looking to buy a townhome in scarborough or north york near good schools and easy commute to downtown. I am looking in the 350k range. I am a first time buyer.Want to have a look at the area before approaching a real estate agent.
Please suggest some intersections or school zones. Thanks!

Hi, I suggest you look near Shepard line west of Kennedy or on Ellesmere west of Kennedy

Eglinton in my opinion is mostly business area.

Finch may be too north. But should be fine as well. West after victoria park is expensive too. East after Kennedy will be too far to get to down town.

I do not like Lawrence line at all
