Ever since Ms. Smriti Irani took over as HRD minister, the ministry has seen much limelight like Finance or Home. Now comes this row which will not die down for sometime.

The English News Media too has not been kind to Irani like some of the parents of KV students who are "phoren" lovers.
The ultras in BJP, not missing an opportunity now want Sanskrit to be burdened on the fragile children shoulders.
As usual, the minister, bureaucrats, academicians, the ENM and even parents, do not recognise the need for children to learn one more neighbouring state language other than Hindi.
For example, 1000s of young IT professionals flock to and fro from Chennai and Bangalore every week as their home is in one state and their place of work in another. It would be of great help if somebody bothers to talk about teaching them Kannada or Tamil more than German. Lack of knowledge of local language is great hardship as it literally makes us deaf and dumb.
Again, as usual, it is common man's problem and our coat-suit pundits will hardly bother about.
