(3. Proof of completion of a secondary or post-secondary education program in French or English, in Canada or abroad, such as:

A transcript, diploma or certificate from a secondary school; or

Note: When these documents are provided, the applicant must have successfully completed a secondary or post-secondary program in English or French. A single course done in English or French does not meet the requirement)

Hi Rahul,

It totally depends on the CIC officer working on your document.
I have not seen any case where these certificates were submitted as proof of language requirement.

If you plan not to use these certificates then CELPIP is the best option, cost involved is 150$ and it has a very basic Listening and speaking test.

Whatever you end up doing, please post back.

Thanks,

--------

They know that you have completed your education in English Language Based Secondary Schools, when you applied to get into Canada.

BUT, all of these documents get buried in a different location and they get secured. It is now your job to get the same document, School leaving Certificate. (Matriculation?) all over again and if needed get the same validated from India from the same school you went to, by couriering the Certificate and asking them to endorse the same as true with a covering letter mentioning that the MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTIONS WERE IN ENGLISH. You have lots of time to accomplish all of this.

In the interim, you just write a letter and attach the same, mentioning that you did the same as above and will submit to them the Confirmation letter, which will be sent to them upon its arrival. (THEY WILL ACCEPT THAT AS GOSPEL TRUTH) They are lenient there.

Good Luck.

Please send a copy of the Original Document to the School with a covering letter and and send them a letter as mentioned below and ask them to provide you with the content mentioned in it.

xxx

This is to certify that Mr./Miss YOUR name, has followed a programme of study AT, (SCHOOL NAME WITH LOCATION) over a period of (THE START YEAR and THE FINAL YEAR) has COMPLETED THE (qualification MATRICULATION) . Mr./Miss. YOUR NAME AGAIN attained his CERTIFICATE (degree) at the level of OR AS MENTIONED IN THE CERTIFICATE.. The medium of Instruction throughout this period was conducted in ENGLISH LANGUAGE.

Although this institution is based in INDIA (or a country, and would normally teach in THE LOCAL VERNACULAR, usual language), this particular course was taught in English throughout, and also examined in that language, from start to finish.

The Head Master, OR

The SCHOOL Board. at the School.

Date.
Location..
Contact details. (If any)

Thanks Full house for your valuable reply and time

This is all about my spouse who come late and joined me..as me and my son already citizens.

my doubt they never mentioned about endorsement...even they are not saying Transcripts are must(as they are endorsed from University)... requirement says...

A transcript, diploma or certificate from a secondary school; or
A transcript, diploma, certificate or degree from a post-secondary schoo

and she had Bachelors degree..Can we send them with notarized?

Thanks

Their primary concern is one from the Secondary Schools. So, get that also.
Then go for the University Degree Program. I am sure that is also required, but it will be also credited. Both these items are accepted once validated by those institutions. So, ask them the same question you have posed here. Also ask them if they will require a validation this time around.

Please keep us in the loop, so that we can also update what it is that they accept currently.

Good Luck.

FH.
