In democracy's around the world you can hold events in universities like this without being called anti national. It is possible you don't know about it even though you probably have been living in Canada for a long time.

On a side note, Apple recently refused to unlock a phone that belonged to a terrorist. No one from US government called the CEO anti national.

AAP rightly called out BJP partners in J & K to clear their stand on Afzal Guru. Everyone knows their stand on Afzal Guru yet Rajnath Singh does not find them anti nationals.

They have no problem with their partners in J & K raising the slogan .... "akhir hai kursi ka mamla hai"

It is utter desperation for the ruling BJP , two years into governing India and the shine has come off. That is why you see these events where they want to project a nationalistic agenda. The recent "cow conspiracy" and "bharat mata ki ji" events are part of this agenda.

This subscribing to pseudo-individual rights by developed democracies around the world is the reason for events like the recent Brussels tragedy. If at all there are rights it must be for the passengers in the airport lounge and the commuters in the metro, to reach their destination. And the Belgian government's stupid decision to grant citizenship to groups who are not emotionally attached to the country, resulting in the deportation into Belgium from the very countries of their origin. Still further, not keeping tab on them for the sake of votes.

Should India, where we have to protect innocents in more densely populated public places emulate the developed democracies in their stupidity.
