Introducing its first ever Capital Efficielcy Survery, "CFO Asia", a reputed business magazine published from Hong Kong, studied businesses in Asia Pacific various sector wise on the basis of ROCE (Return on Capital Employed). In each sector (studies 10 different sectors) five top companies were listed in the region. Three Indian companies appear in three sectors (infosys- top in five companies- IT, Britania Ind- Top in five-Food and Beverages, TISCO- fourth in five- Steel sector). In comparision three chinese companies appear in two sectors (Airlines- fifth in five, Electric Utilities- second and fourth in five). However it is so if we do not include Hong Kong. This shows that Indian Business is moving in a better direction. Other countries in the study included Thailand, Austrlia, Singapore, Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia, Korea.
