For PMP, there used to be a course for 6 weeks where they prepare you to write the PMP examination. They don't provide you the skills - they just polish your management skills. To get the job, one should have other soft skills which are more important than getting PMP certification.
Immigration or study abroad is not 'One Size Fits All' sort of thing. Everyone is unique with his/her unique characteristics, qualities, skills, expectations, requirements, goals of life etc. We have exceptions in life. Exceptions cannot become rule.
This wasn't just some stupid 6 week course.
It was a full time, Business Analysis and Project Management course for 2 yrs. With a stupid piece of paper at the end of it. The employers don't give a shit about that paper. Their whole batch is doing low level shitty jobs and most have gone back home. They even gave the PMP and IIBA exam after that..lol.
They are definitely making fools of international students, you are too naive if you think otherwise. Its big business for them. Its a Billion dollar industry for them.
One poor guy took a loan and came here. He was an Engineer back home from a good university. The Canadian nightmare was sold to him by some of these stupid colleges, and once they got his fees they didn't give a rat shit about him.
In Canada exceptions and rules are one and the same for immigrants. Low level unskilled manual labour jobs for immigrants and Management jobs for White people.
You should come to the next CD meeting in Toronto to see how successful and prosperous the immigrants are. Anyway, what is your success story in India and/or failure story in Canada?
