Canada_Ka_Bhikari, why don't you organize a protest march outside McDonald's Canada Head Office or outside CIC? It will keep you busy and further your cause. If you can gather a big enough crowd, you could even be in local newspapers and TV.

This thread is about the great CD picnic.

Not some foolish agenda of yours. Garvo Punjabi can you delete his post, he is taking the thread of a tangent

You yourself do not find it worthy to support your cause

I suggest to move it out to later in the summer when the weather warms up. Not to say the weather won't warm up by then (at least I hope it does). It's still a bit too early (weather-wise). Additionally a lot of people start their gardening that weekend and kids are still in school busy preparing for their exam.

My 2 cents.. rest is up to the organizers.

Due to the fact that no one has shown any interest in the picnic for that specific date and venue, I wish to take this opportunity to wish you and anyone who will join you on that date and time a very quiet and a successful event.

I have to decide today upon my travels and also purchase the tickets for the same and make plans for hotel events and my return back and also for parking for the week near by and other pick up etc., and since I cannot be at two events on the same day, I will now proceed with my alternate plans.

Now to the question..: Will there be another event this year and if so will it be an organized one? I am losing confidence in such events, when some one new enters the picture and pops up a plan for his picnic and makes a plea to the group to join and finds there is not a one who is free to do so on that day.

A good try. But no takers. The park will be full as usual and you will find it amusing anyway.

FH.
PS. Please carry your own Toiletries as there were none found at that wash room.

{May 21 ( Sunday ), 2017 - Victoria Day Long Weekend - Canadian Desi is planning a Picnic for all CD members.

No need for toiletries, that's for White people who have skid marks on their underwear and toilet paper stuck to their ass. Desis will use water from the lake, which is there at Centennial Park  Water is cheap, cleans better and good for the environment, all Desis know that.

Yes it will be very successful, but not quiet. It will be very loud. Desis are known to be very loud and obnoxious.

Lot of people have shown interest and there are lot of takers. I have received dozens of PM's. In fact I am planning to cut down some people, as we don't have room for them.

Yes the park will be full with us CD's and we will find it amusing that you are on your imaginary vacation, when you could be rocking with us.
