Hello all,

We are thinking of a setting up a food stall ( pani puri or dahi vada, etc.) stall at a street fair in the GTA this summer.

1. What are some popular street fairs /functions where desi food is sold?
2. Can you suggest some organizers I can contact about this?

FEES..: GO to the bottom of the FEEs and see if you can OBTAIN a Daily Fee for a few days, that you want to open, operate and Sell your products. You will Need a CASH register or a permit.

Not worth it.

Lot of fees, food inspection , by laws, permits, rules and regulations and other nonsense in this Nanny state called Ontario, to set up a food stall at any venue.

After all the cost, hassle, stress - both physical and mental, you will barely break even. You will regret it . You will make more and easier to set food stalls in India, than over here.

The people who come to your stall over here are also very cheap Canadian people.
