You are very vague in your Posting here and I am unable to see how many people are entering into Canada and what are their ages and their occupations are.

Just to clarify, If you are sponsoring your Parents, then they can enter into Canada BASED UPON YOUR INCOME. If it is your Sister and B-in-law are both, sponsoring them, then their income put together will help determine the required income level which is called the LICO. The lowest total required, when you add the two of their incomes.

I will provide under this a link to the TABLES that will tell you all about it. If you have additional questions then post them under this. They always say that each individual in the family needs a few bucks to sustain themselves here with in Canada. Then you add the additional dollars required for the others who are being sponsored for entry.

If along with your Parents, a kid is also getting sucked into this deal, then the kid better be under 22 years of age and studying there in an University or College. No income needed. If not studying, then, the kid is pure out of luck. You will have to leave the kid behind. (It is my suggestion, leave him/her in an orphanage.) I do not have an answer. Kapish?

Hope this helps.

FH.

Hello FH.
Thanks a lot for your information. Here is more information for your further advise;
1. Got parent sponsors selected through 2017 lottery selection program.
2. I will sponsor for mother only ( 1 person , no depended).
3. I am a new landed immigrant Nov 2016, nil income in Canada for last few Years 2011-2016
4. My spouse has no income in Canada last few years.

My question : as I have no income , in this case , can my sister and bother in law ( both Canadian Citizen ) be a co-sponsor with me ( as I got selected in 2017 lottery).

I would really appreciate your thought and advise/suggestions how to process sponsorship & co-sponsor documents/forms ( i.e. Financial evaluation for parents).

Please note that I don't want to miss this opportunity, and would like to submit parent immigration application, unfortunately I have no income but my sister and brother- in- low has very good income since 2007 to date.

Thank you in advance.
SH.

Here is answer from CIC. If you and your spouse are not qualified financially, then the application won't be accepted by CIC.

May I have a co-signer?

Your spouse or common-law partner may help you meet the income requirement by co-signing the sponsorship application. A common-law partner is a person who is living with you in a conjugal relationship and has done so for at least one year prior to the signing of the undertaking.

Did you not know back in February 2017, that you had no income, or were you expecting things to change between Feb and July.

AFAIK, only your spouse can be your co-sponsor. So your sister and b-i-l cannot be a co-sponsor.

Wonder if CIC will give someone else a chance if you're not eligible to sponsor, or that spot goes unfilled.

In this lottery system of selecting Parents and Grand Parents, there are a few glitches that need to get fixed in the selection process. One such requirement is the applicant must have his NOA from CRA submitted along with the application. It should indicate his/her income for the previous THREE Years. If none indicated, then they should weed the application out.

By the time they find out all of the details from OP or get a nil response, the year will be over and the next cycle will kick in and only if the P- GP quota gets increased will we know if they have made provision for these missed chances and they have added a few extra to accommodate them and others were lucky enough to get it from those who did not get to use them.
