I got an invitation to sponsor my parents in second round.

1. What documents are required as a proof of relationship?

2. My father passed away last year and I am sponsoring my mother only. Will I need to provide my father's death certificate while sponsoring my mother?

3. Which documents do we need to certify?

You already have an invitation so, prepare it fully before submission.

Application. : Fill and keep a copy for your files. IMM 1344

Sponsor and co-sponsor..: If the income you make is sufficient, then Sponsor.
If you need to add spousal income to top it, then, you will need your wife's income statements.

You will need a NOTARIZED Copy of Marriage Licence. (If it is a different language, then, an OFFICIAL TRANSLATION.)

Generic Application.. : IMM 0008

FEES.. :Sponsor your parent or grandparent

Sponsorship fee ($75), principal applicant processing fee ($475) and right of permanent residence fee ($490)

All the supporting documents need to get photocopied and then attested as true copy by a Notary.

Please Retain a PHOTO COPY of all of the documents and the receipt for the FEES Paid.
