Hi,
I have resubmitted my application to sponsor my wife and children and they received it on July 31, 2018. Till now i didn't hear anything from them. I fear they have send it back to me as before and Canada post LOST it. It contains many original certificates and i am in deep sorrow now. I tried to check the status online but it doesn't give any result. Pls advice

SUCCESS IS NOT A DESTINATION, BUT A JOURNEY...............
When you send ORIGINALS of Documents, it is customary to send them through a COURIER, just that you can track them. Likewise, when you know that you will be receiving them back after verification, you should submit to them a Prepaid Courier WAYBILL to them just to make sure they will come back to you safe and sound through the same courier. ( back to you.)
Generally, they do not go astray as Canada Post is very careful in their transmittal back to you. Yet, sometimes they do get into the neighbor's box. Please check with the neighbors near by if you suspect that is what might have happened.
Also please write to CIC location to which you sent them to and question the status of your application with them. You can also ask for the return of the Originals too in that letter after their verification.
Hope this helps.
FH.

they returned my application package and i got it yesterday by mail. They are asking to resubmit the application with "Police clearance certificate of spouse from India". From where i should i get it? Is it from the local police station or the SP office?

Please follow the instructions provided herein. You may have to pay a visit to the Passport Office also.
Get the first two and the last two pages and the ECR page too. Then follow this procedure. You can get it in a week's time.

Hi all,
we got the PCC. the fedex charges are more to afford. Is it safe to to send the certificate from india to Canada by Express post of India postal department?

Please find out from the Courier who provides you that service if the POST is TRACKABLE. Generally they ask for a signature or an ACKNOWLEDGMENT from the receiving end. Either one will do. That will make it to the destination safely. (Please retain a COPY of all of the documents that you sent, preferably in a numerical order. In short number them.)
Hope this helps. (It is a lot cheaper that way.)
