When you say immigration I think you mean Citizenship. If that's the case, the boy will get PR first and has to complete his required stay in Canada and then apply for citizenship

Yes he can do business on PR
- Any idea, how much processing time to sponsor husband from India
Approx. 4 to 6 months, could be sooner also
- Is my daughter has sign any document that she taking her responsibility or something like that
I believe she has to sign an undertaking. Best to confirm with an immigration consultant

Thanks sudesingh for your reply, very helpful.
Yes he will only get a PR first and come here as a landed immigrant after the spousal sponsorship is successful. He won't get Canadian Citizenship directly just because she sponsored him. After coming as a PR the same rules apply to him and length of stay required for a PR to get Canadian Citizenship.
Yes he can do business on PR.
Takes 3-6 months for him to come here on a PR as a landed immigrant after spousal sponsorship.
Provided there are NO mistakes in the spousal application, you have to prove it is a genuine marriage and not just a fake one for immigration purposes. And all police clearance, medicals, photos, marriage certificate, paasports, other documents are error free and good to go.
Yes she is responsible to financially support him for 3 years, so he doesn't go on welfare etc if he has no income and no job. The government will recover that money from her, if he doe some hanky panky.
Ask her to keep all records and photos of personal conversation. Wedding photos, Reception photos, Correspondence, so she can prove the relationship is genuine and so is the marriage. The onus is on you to prove all this, the government doesn't care about you or whether he comes here or not.
Hello Friends,
I beg to differ on the processing times, my daughter a canadian citizen, married in India, has (8 years,) she has filed for her husband, immigration, they have in her first attempt of application, returned her application, after 1 year, saying, there was 1 signature missing.
Shae had to file her application again, as the requirements changed in the 1 year, (do note, she has already paid the landing fee for her husband, i her 1st application, and the government is holding the same)
For the second application, she is alloted the file number after 3 months of her application, now asking for the police clearance certificate (PCC, from India)

It is good to hear and also nice to see a statement that says The Sponsorship Application for a Family Class gets done in SIX MONTHS.
Yes it is possible too. More on it under this. (Last Paragraph.)
Currently to receive the first Acknowledgment Of Receipt, the (AOR 1) takes 60 days. A lot of evaluation needs to get done and Qualification and experience needs to get verified. They are not comparing just Apples for Apples. KUDOS to that Departmetm now it is just 56 days for you to receive an AOR1.
THE BALL IS NOW IN YOUR COURT.
They will keep your file in the CRS Numerical tiers, now. ARE WE THERE YET?
(A "CRS above 425 will have good chances of getting invitation according to current scenario".)
Please see what follows after this.:
1. Police Check Certificate Request(PCC)
2. Medical Exam Request
3. Request to pay for PR Card (RPRF)
4. Request to submit additional documents,
5. Request for any additional documents that were missing from your application.
A HEADING as a requirement is provided above for all that follows. But it is nice to read each of the page and line there in and see if it needs a special attention to it. As an Example, it will be well appreciated if there is a Bank Balance maintained for a minimum of THREE Months, indicating the availability of funds.. It gets difficult to work backwards at a later date. It will be good to get the Educational Qualifications Verified at an earlier stage to see how well you can settle down once you enter into Canada. (Credential Assessment Services)
At this stage of the process, you will have a file number and can obtain information through ECAS AND ALSO LINK YOUR APPLICATION TO THE GCKEY
Then you might receive a file transfer email to the Local Visa Office(VO).
All of these are to be complied with and the required procedures needs to get completed and verified before they issue to you a PP request and an issue to you of COPR. This Document enables your purchasing a Ticket to Canada. (One way or a Return) Also permits a purchase of Foreign Exchange Requirements prior to departure to CANADA, from your Bank. That will permit you to bring in any goods required in Canada as a Settler.
FH.
If an Individual is getting married and Sponsoring the spouse, PLEASE contact your Local MP Member of the Parliament ans seek their help in SPEEDING up of the process in obtaining the entry into CANADA a lot sooner than expected times. IT IS POSSIBLE and has been DONE.
