Hello to all members and readers here,
As the plan is comming near to come to canada as a permanent immigrant a lot of new questions come in mind what i want to ask you expert,- persons.I have an eu passport which need no visa to Canada or usa.My wife has an Indian passport she needs visa for both. She has now immigrants visa for canada on our way to canada we find some good air tickets from here to Boston and than forward to Saint john(new brunswick) which is our destination. My question is that if we are only on the US airport to change the other plane does my wife need a visa?We do not want to go out from the airport.Second where we land in Saint john Is a small airport in canada do they also have cic staff to complete the landing process or I have to inform or inquire the airport first?
Regards from me to you all.

Kesar, if you have to cross immigration, then your will need a transit visa. It is compulsory as per US immigration laws. You can get more information by browsing through the US embassy website in Germany
As per your second question, every airport in Canada, that caters to International flights (in this case St. John's), will have Immigration agents. So you just follow the procedues after u land there.
