Hi there,

Like it was mentioned here to get desi channels from one of the desi newspapers. Where do i get those desi newspapers. I am in calgary in NE, dunno know much here. Any specific name of the newspaper. could you please tell me.

don't know much about Calgary. Usually in Toronto we are getting desi newspapers free of charge from local grocery stores.

I don't have names of all but here are few

Gujarat Abroad (Gujarati)
India Abroad
India General
Desh-Bidesh (Bengali)
Desi-News
Punjab Patrika

etc.

Some of which are available by post to other parts of Canada, but of course with some subscription fees.

visit desi store such as A1 spice or OK General or even Apna Panjab and you will get your free desi magazines and papers
