Dear Masood ji,
I applied for canada immigration in May 2002 from Delhi , India. I received file no. in July 2002. I submitted IELTS score in Jan 2004 . I submitted all the education and employment details along with required fee. My consultant advice me not submit immigration fees for spouse at the time of application. Consultant advice that you need to submit immigration fee for spouse after receiving Visa.
Now in Nov 2004 , my consultant asking me to submit immigration fee for spouse in order to claim points ( I am claiming 5 Points for Spouse Post Graduate Qualification Without which I will slip below 67 marks)
I am not able to decide wheather to submit the immigration fees for Spouse or not.
Kindly Advise.

you should if you need the points. This means that spouse will now accompany you to Canada.

Dear Masssod ji,
Does it mean that applicants who decided to land alone intially and accordingly paid immigration fees for self only will now have to necessarily pay spouse immigration fee of $ 550 to claim spouse point irrespective of the spouse finally accompanying the applicant to canada or not?
Suppose somebody pays that spouse & depending children immigration fee ( to claim that additional point for spouse) then will CHC issue visa for all of them together. Is there any possibility of delay due to this in the mid of application process?
Your kind advice please.
Rgds
Hi Masood JI ,
Sandi is asking very relevant question. Please clarify.

Everyone will get visa. No big delay if applicant chooses to make those changes in application. [at most a few months extra]
