I just wanted to get others opinion on this one. I could have become paranoid which led me to feel like this. Just yesterday,we visited Dufferin Mall. I was very excited as it was the first visit there and i wanted to check out the walmart but the moment I got off the bus I felt uneasy about the place.

I know :( I cant base my conclusion on one visit but I found that the crowd was much rougher, pushing behavior while shopping was common place and people quite loud in talking. We ate at the kfc/taco bell and found that people were leaving food on the tables and the floor and even staring and watching others while eating.

I am just wondering if others have had that experience. I still cant put my finger on what put me off. Any one with experiences at that mall to share.

:( It is very strange to get such negative answers from the people who might have not even seen the place. I have lived all my life in the neighbourhood and never had any problem. If you have problem at looking at your own desi crowd, then what are you doing at this website.

Please don't judge any place or person by looks!!!!!

IMO, it's not the desi's that one cannot stand, it's the desi attitude, like leaving the plates/garbage behind, shouting across the store etc. That has been my experience. The same is true for the new Walmart on Islington/401, and the one at Keele/Lawrence.

Infact the stories I've heard from people about the Keele/Lawrence store. Young bachelors buy suits from there for their wedding. Use it once and then go n return it. Now mind you this is what I've heard and not experienced 1st hand, so I cannot confirm how far it's true.
