Online transfer of funds in CAD to Indian rupess
Dear Colleagues,
I am banking with Royal Bank of Canada in CAD and ICICI Bank LTD in India.
I wish to transfer some amount of CAD into ICICI BANK's savings account,that too preferabely online.
What is the procedure,or is there a need to open an NRE account in CAD(of icici bank) and then transfer it online to my icici bank savings account in Indian Rs?

Pl.inform the fastest and the cheapest way to transfer between these two accounts.

You can see the demo which is self-explanatory. Could take 1-2 weeks for the transfer but it is free if you transfer by cheque. You would be mailing cheques to Toronto PO Box address along with printout with details from the webpage.

I am somehow very impressed about ICICI Canada, as they offer higher saving interest rates. Does any one has first hand exp, how the customer dealings are? Anyway, I have already made up my mind... lolzzz
