BUT...ALL MY FRIENDS..JUST READ THIS...OUR INDIAN GOVERNMENT DIDNT EVEN GIVE A COMMENT ON THE RECENT JUDGEMENT OF AIR INDIA BOMBING IN 1985 WHICH KILLED 329 PEOPLE ON BOARD?? SO YOU THINK YOUR TICKETS OR MORE VALUABLE THAN LOST LIVES??NOT THE RULING CONGRESS PARTY OR NOT EVEN BJP COMMENTED ON THE JUDGMENT ...THIS IS THE SITUATION IN INDIA NOW...WHY WORRY...WE ALWAYS HAVE KLM,LUFTHANSA, AIR CANADA OR BRITISH AIRWAYS...SO WHY FLY AIR INDIA...ITS A WASTE OF OUR MONEY....AND THE AIR CREW IN INDIAN FLIGHTS TREAT PASSENGERS LIKE SHIT....
It may have happened once in Air India. But nowdays, all other airlines are also losing thier standards as far as Customer Service is concerned. I tell you this with my experience flying every month to Europe/ME/India since last 3 years.

Driller the thriller
Unless you are Gora dont travel by Air India. you will be bumped off any time. They wont care about you. You can expect to wait at Airport for 12 hrs or more at the airport with no hotel etc. It it upto individual to take the risk. Best time to travel whih Air India, Lufthansa is during off peak period. Another unpopular is Quantas( racist onboard).

Having read the comments about Air india, I would like to note my experience with LUFTHANSA.
I Purchased Lufthansa ticket for my entry trip to Toronto. On my return trip in August, I have to use Air Canada as per code sharing between two airlines. Due to delay in Toronto- Frankfurt sector I have to travel through Cairo to Kuwait. Since the flight from Cairo to Kuwait has been cancelled once I reached Cairo, I have to go through all hardships and incur additional expenses and could reach one day late in Kuwait.
I raised the issue with the local office and after about four and half months they came with an argument that they cannot pay any compensation and asked to go to Air canada. Air Canada also washed their hands and blamed the gulf airline. So finally no one is ready to take up any responsibility for the dealys and hardship.
So it is my observation that Lufthansa will not take any responsibility eventhough you have the ticket from them and if there is any unfortunate incidents during your trip by using any other airlines, having code sharing arrangements with them. For most of their trips they are using Air canada for Toronto/Frankfurt sector.
So prospective passengers may take this \" HIDDEN RSIK \" while deciding on Lufthansa.
