you can use gmail as your zip drive.. they also allow you to upload files directly to the inbox from your desktop..

I use it to backup files from my computer to GMAIL..

However, apparently its still not possible to back up files that are individually greater than 10MB on Gmail.

When you posted the link on the forum yesterday, I thought it would be a nice way to transfer some home video to my parents thru a dummy account that I created on gmail. Didn't work for me though since the files were more than 10MB. :(

Use some video splitter programs.. i transfered a movie of 750 MB after splitting it in 75 Parts.. ;)
well its tough.. but worth the effort.. if you can send it to your parents..

Did you guys notice that GMail now has removed space limits and is giving away unlimited space - the account capacity is being increased gradually.
During the last 2 days, my account has gone from 1 GB to > 2GB now.
