Hi !
We are quite new here. Needed help of some basic things.
1. How and where does one get a camera roll developed ? How much would it cost for 24 or 36 exposures.
2. Many ads for things for sale have a word 'obo' after the price. What does that mean?
3. Can someone suggest a DVD player for under $ 100?

1. Futureshop .. Blacks .. Walmart .. and even Costco.. prices i am not sure because i never got it done.. but its much more than in India for sure.

3. you can check Walmart.. Futureshop etc.. for $100 you should be able to get one with Progressive Scan.. and even capability to play DivX files.

approx 7$+...depending on where you go. Should be under 15$ tho.
If you have a digital cam...put the images ona cd and print them out @ a few cents/pic

Actually it's around $6. Now keep in mind that's for the 24 exposure, which is a standard here. The 36 exp. is more expensive. Sometimes they have deals where you get the 2nd set of prints for either free or 99 cents (for the entire set, not just one print). I've seen those deals at Zellers & Shopper Drug Mart. U cud even try PharmaPlus
DVD Player - Walmart would probably be your best bet.

Does that mean I can get a basic DVD player for even lesser?
And, Jake, I have a conventional camera. But looking at the developing costs, I might soon get a digital one.

was surpised to see a progressive scan dvd palyer for about 50$(if i remember correctly) at Wal-mart the other day. Dont know about the make/quality or other such issues.
