assuming you are in GTA, there are some recruiters who are desi's and can help.
there used to be a QA coaching center called cybertribedotca.
companies like rogers, bell always hire junior testers as contract.
check the job listings and tailor your resume to match common postings.
it is always useful to have some unique skill like automation, selenium is gaining ( this is a free tool . can learn using firefox built in IDE). XML and System integration is of importance as well.

Please get some specific skill and in the meantime keep looking.
a personal reference to a rectuiter will greatly help.
