My parents had a pre-booked tickets for 23rd August, 2020 to fly from Toronto to Ahmadabad but Air India canceled their flight because of ongoing Coronovirus issue.

Now Air India asking to re-book tickets for them with additional $270 per person to get a new tickets for October month.

as per CGI website they are asking to do Covid -19 RTPCR test which should be done within 96 hours and upload result into the govt portal.

Flight details Toronto - Delhi - Ahmedabad. Parents age is around 70+. Do they need to quarantine at Delhi or Ahembadad?

How fast can we get Covid-19 test result here in GTA? Is it any additional form needs to be fill up when flying to India?

Any idea or input would be greatly appreciated.

As for the LANDING CARD for air travelers to India, the flights are just getting started and the format is unknown and your Parents will have to ask the Attendants for help. Please carry a pen to help filling out the same.

No Quarantine in Delhi. It is a PASS THROUGH, unless they have FEVER. (Those thermometers are not fully functional and might give problems.) But they will provide them with proper instructions to contact after reaching Ahmedabad to inform proper authorities and might ask for SELF Quarantine. Don't know the number of days?

Please carry a few masks, Nitrile Gloves, Plastic glasses, Cheap ones.If you can find, PPE atleast the White vest./Overcoat. Food will be served Microwaved. You open the clamshell container. Toilets will be cleaned every 15 minutes or so. There are special cleaning crew deployed for this. If you can hold your breath for 18 hours you are fine. You will not get COVID. Now I am practicing. I can now hold for 29 seconds. In a few more weeks I will tell you my progress. STAY SAFE. fh.
