hi ... I am an indian doctor and have secured admission in cosmetology at seneca as well as cardiac sonography at York college(YCIT) for fall . Though I am personally inclined to cosmetology people say that diagnostics hold better prospects for foreign medical professionals in Canada. I am confused as to what should I opt for as I plan to settle in toronto. guidance required
Optional Cosmetology procedures are not covered by OHIP so jobs are very few in hospitals. Although you can go for private practice but that would not be an easy task either as there is cut throat competition in the field.
Cardiac Sonography would be a better choice as there is a chronic shortage of professionals in this field.
Thanks and regards.
