No scope for 'Phas Gaye... 2', says writer-director

New Delhi, Feb 11 (IANS) Subhash Kapoor, writer-director of 2010 satire "Phas Gaye Re Obama", is not sure if he will be associated with the sequel of the movie.

Producer Ashok Pandey had reportedly announced a 'part two' of the comedy film last year, but Kapoor said: "I don't think there's any scope for part two."

"I don't think if one movie works, a second part should be made. I don't subscribe to that," he told IANS.

For now, the journalist-turned-filmmaker is busy spreading a buzz about his forthcoming movie "Jolly L.L.B", a satire on the Indian law system.

Starring Arshad Warsi and Boman Irani, the movie releases March 15.

Go vegan, urges Jacqueline

Actress Jacqueline Fernandes, who recently went vegan, now urges her family members, friends and fans to follow in her footsteps and go vegan for the 40 days of Lent, the fasting period before Easter.

"I went vegan, and I've never felt better. Now, I want to share that wonderful feeling with everybody I know," Jacqueline said in a statement.

"Going vegan is the best thing you can do to help stop animal suffering, protect the environment and safeguard your own health, and Lent is the perfect time to start," said the People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) supporter.

The former Miss Sri Lanka had earlier shot a PETA ad asking Mumbai residents to help put cruel horse-drawn carriages out to pasture.

Sonam discusses weight issues with Karisma

That Sonam Kapoor was once overweight is a fact well-known. She says when the stress of her weight began to reflect on her health, she became determined to shed the excess kilos.

Now counted as a style diva in the country's fashion circles, Sonam opened up about her weight problems to BIG RJ Karisma Kapoor during the latter's BIG On Style segment on 92.7 BIG FM's afternoon women's show BIG Memsaab.

It was when she was 16 that she decided to work towards a healthy lifestyle of regular workouts, yoga and figure-friendly food. Thus started her journey to become the fashion icon she is today.

Clearly, one wonders whether Sonam has come to truly believe in the motto - Health is wealth.
