New Delhi, Feb 13 (IANS) After "No One Killed Jessica", Rani Mukerji is set to don the garb of a journalist once again for "Bombay Talkies". "Bombay Talkies" is a bouquet of four stories directed by four different directors - Anurag Kashyap, Karan Johar, Zoya Akhtar and Dibaker Banerjee. It is an ode to 100 years of Indian cinema. The story directed by Karan features Rani, Randeep Hooda and Saqib Saleem. Both Karan and Rani have been best friends ever since the actress made her debut in the film industry with "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai" and have shared a long professional relationship. "Rani will be essaying the role of a journalist in the film. She is paired opposite Randeep. The duo are sharing screen space for the first time," the spokesperson of film said in a statement Added the source: "Rani was briefed on her character nuances by Karan and she effortlessly got into her character." -*- Akshay gets standing ovation from wife Twinkle Actor Akshay Kumar got a standing ovation from wife Twinkle for his performance in Neeraj Pandey's "Special 26" -- a first in their 12-year-old married life. Akshay had held a special screening of the heist drama for Twinkle who was so impressed that she couldn't help but give a standing ovation to her husband. "It was a first in our 12 years together as a married couple, needless to add, I'm more than just happy about it," said the actor-producer. Akshay is glad the film is getting rave reviews from critics as well as audiences. "As an actor, you always want to do something new and I'm extremely glad that the film is receiving good response. The film deserves every bit of it," he added. -*- Ayushmann, Kunal to perform at Star Guild Awards Actors Ayushmann Khurrana and Kunal Roy Kapur will shake a leg together on the songs of their upcoming film "Nautanki Saala", at the Star Guild Awards. The duo will dance on songs "Saadi gali" and "Dramebaaz" from their new film, directed by Rohan Sippy. The show, hosted by superstar Salman Khan, will be held Feb 16 in Mumbai. The awards are a joint initiative by the Film & Television Producers Guild and Wizcraft International Entertainment.
