'Kai Po Che!' inspires new apparel line

New Delhi, Feb 20 (IANS) Youth-oriented film "Kai Po Che!", about three friends, has inspired a new apparel collection, launched by the film's actors Amit Sadh, Raj Kumar Yadav and Sushant Singh Rajput.

The trio together launched the new spring-summer collection in association with Reliance Trends' sub-brand Netplay here Wednesday.

The "Kai Po Che!" collection is available at Reliance Trends outlets, and promises a unique blend of cut, style and fabric.

The collection's highlights are a wide range of check shirts as worn by the actors in the movie, and cotton linen shirts in wide range of pastel colours. The line starts at Rs.799.

The menswear collection also features something for every occasion - from funky casual T-shirts and denims to a wide range of formal wear to suit the perfect the nine-to-five look. The line also includes an outdoor theme series, which is a range of comfort wear for men, women and kids.

This particular line is available in bright colours with floral prints for women. It offers fashionable tunic tops with floral prints, pintucks and piping details, and caters to traditional wear requirements with saris, salwaar kameez sets and kurtas.

Based on Chetan Bagat's bestselling novel "The 3 Mistakes of My Life", the movie releases Friday.

Directed by filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor, the movie also features actress Amrita Puri.
