Vishva Shakti Durga Mandir Association (VSDMA) was incorporated in 1997 as a non-profit organization to promote religious, social, and cultural activities of Indo-Canadians. Its membership and congregation is growing day by day.
With the support and efforts of local Hindu community, we were able to achieve the goal of building Durga Temple at 55 Clarey Av. in Gleabe area of Ottawa. Durga Murti Sthapana Ceremony was done in June 2006 and Shivling Sthapana was done in July 2006. We have made significant progress in almost all areas of operations resulting in improved religious services and cultural activities. Renovations are in progress and other Murties will be establishing in coming months
