Check out the Consulate General of India website at cgitoronto.ca It takes around 2 months. You get a registeration card which looks like an Indian passport and registers you as an OCI (Overseas Citizen Of India). They also put a visa on the Canadian passport which has lifelong validity and eligible for multiple entry. I fueled in Mississauga at CAD $1.30 per liter and did 2 more times once at WV and SC. I paid about US $ 1.00 per liter. Total gas cost was roughly $ 175 for one leg assuming CAD =USD. ...
