   Level M1 salary: ...My dad works for a very well known Food Industry in Dubai and his entire pay package is ~8.3 k CAD per month which translates to ~99.6k per annum. Plus Medical for 2 dependents and spose. Also once a year trip for spouse and dependents TOR-DXB return. Hope this is a good estimate.

   Windsor (ON): ...it is a good place to stay. Especially since it is close to detroit (USA). There are a lot if indians (very affluent) in windsor. It should be very easy to get in touch with your community. The best way is to visit a indian grocery store and pick some thread from there. There are fairly significant indian families in Forest Glade and tecumcea area. The transit system is ok, but best is to have your own vehicle. Hope this helps. rp

General: Racist aussie email scandal may damage India/aussie ties

   ...This Mgupta guy looks like a big time RSS person. There are millions of foreigners in Australia. So a few incidents of racism does not matter. There was a Indian student killed in Oklahoma city by muggers. It was reported as race crime by Indian newspapers. My friends in Oklahoma started getting panic calls from their family members from India. So do not belive in media reports too much.

The welfare system is specifically the best for single parents with 2 0r 3 children (whose husband has run away or in in South America or the carribean). Let me tell you how it works : Income for a person with 2 children : Say $ 1100 (welfare) healthy food allowance - There is an allowance. Not sure how much. CCTB for the 2 children - Say $ 300 per month HST Credit - Say $ 400 for every 3 months So the income is - $ 1450 Expenses - Rent - $ 850 (basement) Food - $ 200 (rest from food banks) Misc. expenses - $ 100 Children expenses - Max $100 Phone / internet /TV- $ 150 School travel - walking Total - $ 1400 So it...
