   Mississauga may go through correction: ...When I can to Ontario, I looked at houses in Mississauga first and then Markham where I found Markham prices a bit lower than Mississauga so there is no surprise there. So lets how it goes but with the loonie down to 77 cents US, the correction will not be visible after all.

   ...erienced in Toronto yet. I like the owner who is also the host - a nice gracious humble Sikh man. Curry Twist near Dundas and High Park. Their food is good, service is so so. Another one close by to Curry Twist is North of Bombay. The service is great, food is ok. Anyone knows a nice South Indian place, preferably closer to Bloor subway line?

I am not very adventurous (with food) and stick to known food items, which I am sure have no non-veg items inside. One of the very few reasons I miss the U.S. I do hope someone listens to my prayers and starts something like that here in Toronto. God knows there's a HUGE market for good South Indian food here.

   ...The best one for decor and ambience that I've been to is "Nirvana" in Mississauga. Its at an obscure spot, close to the HWY 10 / 401 intersection. But the atmosphere is great and the food is awesome too. It is a bit more expensive than other desi restuarants, although not substiantially. Here's a review.    ...Coming back to South Indian food can anybody tell me why despite a big Tamil population here in Toronto (both from India and S.Lanka), it is so difficult to find decent joints that have "authentic" dosas/uttapams/sambar/rasam? I don't get this part. Sarvana Bhavan was great when it started. I remember visiting it about 10 days after it opened and the food was fantastic. I remember writing a review about this. I went recently and was disappointed. The sambar sucked big time, it was like any other "dal" we make at home. And my Onion Rava masala dosa was soft instead of crispy....
