Downtown Vancouver: ...For a small one-bed you pay approximately $900 - 1200 in the downtown neighbourhood. You would save time and money on transport if you lived downtown. There are plenty of grocery stores too. Most of them also stock indian spices and indian grocery. For the speciality items you would have to go to India town in Main street or in Fraser. here's a link http://www.virtualvancouver.com/indiatown.html

Life: Looking for a Nanny
Started by: KennyV on 12 Jul 2009
...Hi , We are expecting a child and would need a nanny for at least 1-3 months after delivery . W are assuming availability of an older Indian women (50 + ) who could come in for 8 hours in the day , do minimal daily chores and tend to the mother / child per need . How do we search for such a nanny ? Should we look at Indian stores classifieds or free newspapers available ? What kind of remuneration range are we looking at here ? What are the basic things we should check while hiring one ? Would appreciate responses . Thanks .

There is something fundamental happening in Canada offlate. The freedom of speech is intrepreted as individual versus a collective group of people. For Example: 1.If you would have heard Dr.Lamba on Asian connection recently he would be a shadow of his past. The hosts are always asking the callers in to ask questions about Canada and to refr...
