Loafer Lake's rec centre and other Libraries in Brampton too rent a room for such occassions and I believe that they would be very reasonable and allow you to bring your own food.

If its gonna be a large gathering, then that much is not too much for us...right? Collect it at the door. BTW, the Hall should be booked up asap, as you all know near Christmas time, it will be hard to get it. ( I guess I am the only female going to this party, or should I cancel? What say?)

...Just my thoughts on opening a restaurant can be summarised in one sentence with less than 10 words " Food taste, customer service & Location " that's all you need. Food taste is obvious.... but as you are quite experience, I think that's not your root problem. But remember the taste is different from people to people. Do you think that the restaurants owner who goes bankrupt thinks that his food is bad taste ?? For him its the best taste food as he might like it.... but for general public it's a different question all together !!! ...

After all the cost, hassle, stress - both physical and mental, you will barely break even. You will regret it . You will make more and easier to set food stalls in India, than over here. The people who come to your stall over here are also very cheap Canadian people.
