Life: Protestors desecrate Indian tricolour in Canada
Started by: meghal on 04 Feb 2009
...Strange...people remember what happened 70 years ago to the Jews and keep on raising a hue and cry if someone denies or says anything against them but they want to forget and "move on" for what happened 25 years ago. Dual standards ....not positive thinking. I do not agree with the protestors in desecreting the Indian flag. I never have and never will abuse the Indian flag or for that matter the flag of any country but I will never forget and "move on" because my family lost a lot in that senseless massacare that took place in Delhi in 84.

...ing the Canadian Citizenship is FIRST and FOREMOST, regardless where you settle down in life is worthy of note. Freddie.[/quote] Why is it worthy of note, If I may be so bold to ask? It is not to create an argument, just to know why you think it is so. I have trucked the world on my bhangi Indian passport and am downright proud of it. Lived in Singapore, India, Morocco, Germany, Switzerland, France, Spain, US and more and never for a moment aspired to have a passport of these countries even though I had access to apply. Now only if clinging to my Indian passport had me as rich as Mittal... alas!

... justice system is dysfunctional and it takes decades to resolve any dispute. Further Indian rupee depreciates every year which will reduce value of your investment. Further very soon Indian Govt will be entering in information exchange treaty with foreign Govt including Canada and you might find yourself in trpuble with incomeax dept in Canada.
