Some like to be near the campus to enjoy campus life. So decide what you want. Get a map of Toronto and compare each address of accomodation with TTC bus number/ Subway distance. My option would be walk to subway and go to George brown. It is so much better for you that way. Murali

It seems parent are scared with those type of kids and they donā€™t say anything to them otherwise he/she will leave the home. UBC has very little indian student population as compare to indian population in Vancouver area. Situation is not so bad in US-desi kids like Canadian desi kids.

Ask Immigration Expert: Immigration officer at border mistake and delay in PR card!!!!!! help
Started by: pcool on 20 Jun 2012
... Thats right, though it is difficult to counter cdn_dude on such matters :-) but I will twist his sentence a bit , 6 months validity is actually for foreigners (or Indians with foreign pp) visiting India. If an Indian on indian pp is visiting foreign countries, then rule of that country will apply. most of the asian countries have 6 months rule, some countries have 3 months rule and you can go to europe with a valid passport on the day. They let you in and will direct you to consulate of your country :-). pcool, clearly you can go to India
