So please do stay in Canada and try to repay the loan and at the same time , please pay your taxes to the cdn. govt. so that it can take care of people like me (who rely on free govt. handouts) and seniors who are in need of CPP/ OAS, free handouts from the govt... It seems money would not be a problem for you initially so you at least don't have to worry about food on the table. My suggestion would be to keep all options open, try out life as you imagine over here & give it 12-18 months.    ...Hi Global guajarati, When i arrived in may 2006 in canada, that time i brought all the kitchen stuff and spices with me and they allowed me with all stuff. During immigration they asked me have you carried any food items with you? than i replied some of spices i am carrying with me, and they allowed me with my family. for kitchen stuff you can bring all items whatever you want. I am also gujarati i carried all my routine kitchen stuff with me and i did'nt face any problem while landing in canada. you try to get more exp. from another person and than decide.? all the best.
