I am just limiting the attractions to very few in both places, two in paris and 4 in London. Any thoughts, essential preps from recent travellers, greatly appreciated such as currency, pre booked attraction tickets, food etc.. I have already bought the trip cancellation and medical insurance plus plan to use rogers roaming in europe for $10 a day....

If they want to stay more may be apply for vistor visa extension but i would recommend just stay for 6 months go back and if they decide on to come again reapply that way you abide by CIC rules and your file stays in good books. However, i did apply for visitor visa extension for my parents from Canada they stayed with us for almost 9 months. My parents sponsership file was approved by Mississauga in June 2008.Now its in New Delhi queue. Hope this helps.

   ...year. First winter take apartment in downtown, snow is cleared promptly and easier to walk and better connectivity. I used to stay in Timbercreek apartment (http://www.timbercreekcommunities.com/find-your-home/calgary), the apartment is clean but rent is slightly on higher side. There is a Indian grocer downstairs (speaks Hindi/Punjabi) downstairs. There is also a apartment on 7th Ave which is mostly Indians very close to C-Train station. Most of the downtown is connected by +15 and there is a garden in TDI mall with kids play area. Shoppers Drug Mart is close by, for proper indian grocery shopping you need to go North East. I am sure that you can choose one. professional providers also can pick you up from the airport to the accomodation for a reasonable fee. A local Gurudhuwara may also be able to provide you with free accomodation and food for some days. Local Gurudhuwara's will not be able to provide you pick up from the airport. TK
