Just carry reasonable items thats all. I have travelled a lot, on Indian n Canadian passport and NEVER had any problems. KLM is usually punctual around these days only sometimes during dec/jan because of fog flights are delayed severly. The indian customs is still the same old "clerk" depeartment with lots of confusion and lack lusture working. Just Landed: Winter jacket & shoes

You will get a chance to see how and where the Rich of Canada live. Some of the houses will blow your mind. It is hard when you cross 70's/ Remember that Indian people donot have the health of the white people. Most of my relatives have always gone to Govt. hospitals for free cancer treatment (radiation). Even when my mom was diagonised with Brain lession, she was admitted in Ramakrishna, Coimbatore where the fee was almost free. Things have changed. But if you remove the subsidy everyone will say that, since cost of living / expenses have gone up and no subsidized food is provided, this gives an incentive for the MP to take bribe.
